Hash brown or rosti potato
Hash brown is a typical breakfast dish in the United States. I found out recently and I want to do it every day! For me you can eat at any time.
Another thing I recently discovered is that the name in Brazil is Potato rosti.
Ingredients:
Potato - 2
margarine / butter - 1 tablespoon
salt and pepper
Preparation:
1- Peel and grate the potatoes.
Note: Some recipes recommend cooking the peeled potatoes for about 10 minutes and waiting to shred before grating. In this case, you can skip step 2.
2- Using a pasta rack, rinse the grated potatoes well to loosen them, and remove excess water.
3- Heat the pan well with the margarine, place a portion of potato the size of the pan.
4- Add salt and black pepper, mix.
Make the potatoes in the shape of a square / rectangle, just like in the picture.
6- Leave in the frying pan for 8-10 minutes, until the dough peels off.
7- Turn and leave another 8-10 minutes. My tip for turning without deforming is to use a plate - cover the pan with the plate, flip over, and slide back into the pan.
